How does a monthly porta potty rental work?
A monthly porta potty rental is billed every 28 days, not by calendar month, and includes a weekly service visit. The cycle renews automatically until you call for pickup, so there is no paperwork to extend. The first cycle includes delivery; later cycles are the base rate.
| Item | How it works |
|---|---|
| Billing period | 28 days, renews automatically |
| Service | Weekly pump, wash, sanitize, restock, included |
| Extra service | Second weekly visit available |
| First cycle | Unit price plus delivery |
| Ending | Call before the next cycle. Billing stops at pickup |
| Moving the unit | Done on a service visit at no extra trip charge on the same site |
Who rents porta potties by the month?
Monthly renters include home builders, farms and barns, hunting camps, ball fields, churches with outdoor events, nurseries, landscapers, lots with no septic, and seasonal sites like produce stands. Any site used most days of the week, for more than two weeks, costs less on a monthly plan than repeat event rentals.
Farms with hand-labor crews of 11 or more must provide toilets and handwashing under OSHA 1928.110: 1 of each per 20 workers, within a quarter-mile walk. See farm field sanitation in Florida.
Can I get less than weekly service?
Florida rule 62-6.0101 requires portable restrooms to be serviced at least weekly, so weekly is the minimum for a unit in regular use. A lightly used seasonal unit, such as a hunting camp, can be quoted for on-call service between active weeks; ask when you book.

Do you prorate if I only go a week past the cycle?
Cycles are billed in full. To avoid paying for a cycle you will not use, call a few days before the next cycle starts and schedule pickup.
Is the first month more expensive?
The first 28-day cycle includes the delivery charge. Later cycles are billed at the base unit rate with weekly service included.
Can I keep a unit for six months or a year?
A unit can stay as long as you need it. It simply renews every 28 days with weekly service until you call.
