A restroom trailer is a towed bathroom with separate stalls, real flush toilets, vanity sinks with running water, mirrors, lights and air conditioning. Guests climb a few steps to enter. Two-stall trailers suit up to about 75 to 100 guests; four-stall trailers suit about 200.

What does a restroom trailer need on site?

A restroom trailer needs a level spot about 25 feet long and 10 feet wide, a standard 120-volt outdoor outlet within about 50 feet, and a garden-hose water connection. Without power or water, we add a quiet generator and a fresh-water tank for an extra charge. The truck must back the trailer into place.

Soft lawns: tell us if it has rained. We may place boards under the wheels.
Slope: the trailer is leveled with jacks, but a steep slope may rule out a spot.
Distance: guests should not walk far in formal shoes; 100 feet from the tent is comfortable.

How far ahead should I book a restroom trailer?

Book a restroom trailer 3 to 6 months ahead for spring and fall wedding weekends, and at least 2 weeks ahead for other dates. Trailers are fewer than porta potties, so peak Saturdays sell out first. A short-notice trailer is sometimes possible; call to check the date.
